Grid Gang – Terms of Use

1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of the app Grid Gang. The provider is The Lucas Agency GmbH (see legal notice). Apple's terms (App Store, Licensed Application End User License Agreement) also apply to the download and all purchases.

2. The app

Grid Gang is a puzzle game with daily puzzles (dailies) and level packs, in German and English. The app is free and financed by ads. Some content and benefits can optionally be purchased.

We keep developing the app. Games, puzzles, numbers of levels, rules, unlock thresholds and prices may change. New dailies are released every day at 8:00 am (Berlin time). There is no entitlement to specific content or to uninterrupted availability.

3. Purchases

• All games permanently unlocks all games, including games added later.
• Remove ads permanently removes interstitial ads. Optional videos for rewards remain available.
• The Complete bundle includes both, plus a one-time bonus of 700 coins. The coins are credited on purchase; restoring brings back the unlocks only.
• Coins are a virtual game currency for hints and extra tries. They have no monetary value and cannot be paid out, transferred or exchanged back. They are part of your progress (see section 5).

Purchases are handled by Apple. Unlocks and "Remove ads" can be restored with the same Apple ID via Restore purchases; coins cannot (they are part of your progress). Refunds are handled by Apple.

4. Right of withdrawal for digital content

You generally have a statutory right of withdrawal. For digital content it expires if you have expressly agreed that we begin providing the content before the withdrawal period ends and have confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. Apple obtains this consent during the purchase.

5. Progress

Your progress (stars, levels, coins, unlocked games) is stored on your device and – if you are signed in to iCloud – backed up in your iCloud account. It then comes back after reinstalling or on a new device with the same Apple ID. Without iCloud it is lost when you delete the app. We have no access to your progress and cannot restore it.

6. Fair play

The following is not allowed:

• manipulating the app,
• automated play,
• exploiting bugs to obtain coins or unlocks.

We may correct coins or unlocks that were credited by mistake.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are only liable for breaches of essential obligations and limited to the typically foreseeable damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

8. Changes

We may adapt these terms if the app or the legal situation changes. The current version is always available on this page.

9. Final provisions

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
